This workshop will focus on the landscape as our subject matter looking at ways to loosen up our pastel technique to create fresh and exciting paintings. Loosening up and working in a less formal way still requires the artist to be aware of the essentials of composition, tone and colour but also to develop the ability to edit the scene down to the essentials for a successful painting. This workshop is suitable for all abilities.
