The easiest way to book your place on any class or event is directly via this website.
Simply click on the “Classes & Events” tab at the top of the home page and then select the type of class [e.g. classes / courses / workshops] to view the upcoming events.
You do not need a PayPal account to book via our website, if you would prefer to book using a credit/debit card simply add your choice of classes to your shopping basket, follow the check out instructions and then choose “Pay with debit / credit card” when you are prompted to log into PayPal.
If you prefer you can email or write to us including your name, contact details and the title of the class(es) that you wish to book. Please include your full payment with your booking. We can also take reservations and help you to book your class over the phone : 01873 840282 / 07935 934898.
We accept cheques made payable to Chapel Cottage Studio, cash, direct bank transfers (details available on request) as well as any major credit or debit cards. There are no fees for any of our payment methods.
Please note that your place on any class is not fully booked until paid for in full.
Cancellation Policy:
If for any reason we have to cancel your class/event, we will offer you a refund, a credit note or transfer your booking to another class of your choice (subject to availability). If you choose to swap to a class/event with a higher fee you must pay the difference in price.
If we postpone a class/event to a later date and you are unable to attend, we will offer you a refund, a credit note or transfer your booking to another class of your choice (subject to availability). If you choose to swap to a class/event with a higher fee you must pay the difference in price.
If you have to cancel your booking the policy is as follows:
Notification in writing (email) at least 2 weeks before the start date of your class/event – full refund issued.
Notification in writing (email) less than 2 weeks before the start date of your class/event – no refund issued.
If we are able to fill your place with another paying student, we are very happy to offer you a refund regardless of when you cancel.
Please note that there is a £5 administration fee payable in respect of refunds. This is to cover the administration time required to advertise and re-fill places following cancellation. This fee will be deducted from your refund.
All classes and events are subject to change if necessary, though all possible measures will be taken to avoid this.
Bad Weather Policy:
In the event of bad weather (snow, ice, flooding etc.) we will postpone or cancel a class/event if we feel that the roads near to the Studio are dangerous.
The decision will be based on the condition of the roads in Llanddewi Rhydderch and Abergavenny and we will aim to notify you at least 2 hours before your class/event is due to begin.
Please ensure that we have a current telephone number for you so that we are able to contact you in the event of bad weather and please check your messages/emails if there is any question of the class/event not going ahead.
If we have to cancel a class/event altogether we will offer you a refund, a credit note or transfer your booking onto another class/event of your choice (subject to availability). If you choose to swap to a class/event with a higher fee you must pay the difference in price.

If you are unable to attend a class/event due to bad weather in your location when the roads to the studio are clear and safe to drive, no refund will be issued.
